Hatha Yoga & Yin Yoga (Yin Yang)
My teaching style is very adaptable, depending on my class and students. No matter what level you are, I welcome you to the class with open arms.
The beginners Hatha Yoga classes are powerful yet playful - leaving you feeling energized and accomplished whereas my Yin Yoga classes are extremely relaxed and meditative.
I first discovered yoga after having my children and I fell in love with it instantaneously. The mind & body connection, the feeling of calm after practice, and the physical relaxation was like nothing I had ever experienced, pure bliss. A while after finding my passion, I joined a hot yoga studio in Edinburgh and I was soon going every day.
It was at this time, my brother Steve became very ill with a rare respiratory disorder, which was devastating to my family. After losing him I was determined to live my life to the fullest in honour of his passing which was when I made the decision to do my first yoga teacher training course.
I graduated from the 500-hour Hatha Yoga training in Kho Lak Thailand in 2014.
I then went on to complete my 200-hour Yin teacher training course to create an ideal Yin Yang balance of the styles I had learned.
I now teach my yoga blend and meditation in my classes to create the perfect harmony for the mind body and soul.
I feel I have found my calling in teaching yoga and I will do my best to support every one of my student’s success: physically, mentally, and spiritually.
I am a highly qualified and experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher and Holistic Therapist.
Ten years of living in London and a hectic job in the fashion industry left me feeling burnt out and unfulfilled. To combat the stress I was experiencing I was inspired to take a completely different direction, all down to the life-changing practice of yoga.
Since my early twenties, I have experimented with different styles of yoga, but it wasn’t until 2013, that I truly discovered just how transformational yoga can be. My flatmate at the time, Tammy, was a newly qualified Bikram Yoga teacher and she encouraged me to try it as a way of coping with the unhappiness I was experiencing. I was instantly hooked, and I began practising as often as I could. Yoga became my therapy, it helped me through a difficult period and it kept me sane!
Fast forward a couple of years - I decided to move back to my hometown of Edinburgh. To be near my family, to start my life over, retrain and embark on a very different career path. In August 2015 I travelled to Malta to complete my 200-hour FitYoga Teacher Training course. Upon my return, I began training with The Scottish Massage Schools in Swedish Massage. The past seven years have been about building up my holistic toolkit, qualifying as a reiki master, and adding many different types of holistic treatments to my portfolio. I've never looked back. In 2017 I completed my Meditation Tuition diploma with Gateway Training School and I am delighted to share this wonderful practise with others. In December 2018 I fulfilled a lifelong dream and travelled to Goa, India and successfully completed a 60-hour Yin Yoga teacher training course with Sampoorna Yoga School. In January 2020 I returned to my beloved Goa and gained my 300-hour Yin/Yang and the Five Elements teacher training certification with Trimurti Yoga.
I have always wanted to make a real, positive contribution to people's lives, doing something I love and am passionate about - I'm very happy to say I'm doing just that!

After many years of chronic back pain amongst other injuries and a daily reliance on many painkillers, I struggled to do my daily tasks and I had no choice but to give up my career as a beauty therapist.
However, little did I know that I would find natural pain relief and a new lease of life after becoming a Pilates student back in 2015. I had practiced consistently over 2 years before starting teacher training and then went on to train in Les Mills BodyBalance and Yoga over the next 2 years.
My goal is to help others feel physically and mentally better through movement and mindfulness.
I want people to look forward to their workouts and have fun whilst doing something so beneficial to their physical & mental health!
I love to use props where possible, such as therabands, yoga balls, and even small weights but don’t worry you can still get great workouts propless!
It doesn’t matter what age you are, your fitness, flexibility levels, or any injuries you may have.
I aim to make my classes available to everyone, as everybody is different and we all have different needs.
I truly believe and through my own experience that ‘Movement is Medicine’.
I look forward to meeting on the mat!
